Furnaces for Aluminum Alloys

For heating and heat treatment furnaces for aluminum alloys, the processing temperature range remains under 600℃, hence no radiation heat is expected. Accordingly, heat transfer based on convection is conducted, and a circulating hot air method is considered optimal. Since we have developed furnaces using convection heat transfer based on the circulating hot air method ever since day one, a circulating hot air system has been established for both rotary hearth and continuous furnaces. Compact heating furnaces require swift thermal capability, meaning the operational heat-transfer coefficient must be increased right to the limit. Moreover, although the heat treatment furnace requires swift heating, extremely high temperature accuracy is also required. Our circulating hot air oven combines both features. The ROTAVECT/RC/ARC series features good thermal efficiency with our original circulating hot air mechanism, which does not overheat and is fine-tuned to adapt to changes in thermal load. For rotary hearth furnaces, since they are basketless and involves individual processing, thermal efficiency peaks at 40~70%.
